And inspired by TG’s and Jon׳ֶs Madrid pics, we made a short Passover holiday trip to Italia
Includes quick trip to Courmayeur, which is the Italian village under Monte Bianco, ( which the French for some reason think is called Mont Blanc, which everyone knows is just a pen)
Perfect day for pictures, no clouds, visibility infinite, courmayer from one of the middle stations on the way up monte bianco
that the very peak of monte bianco with the ice cap, 4805 meters, highest mountain in the alps
That’s the Matterhorn miles distant in Zermatt (ok also this one the Italians call cervino.Italy is just so civilized. Scenery. Food. Wine. Art.

That looks fantastic - I love Italy.
My best ever work trip a few years back involved a train journey from Zurich to Milan which is somewhat to the east of there, but was very enjoyable.

Cool pictures, thanks. We'll be going to Florence in a few months.

That's a good vacation. I am vastly disappointed you only "took a picture of" the Matterhorn, not climbed it. But great pics none the less.
