Well, she's leaping to the conclusion that "the media" was hesitant to publicize who the pilot was, due to his skin color. You could just chalk that up to observation of a certain typical media bias, or you could call it racism. She doesn't need to believe the pilot caused the accident.

Right but that theory falls apart once you realize the pilot is a victim too. The media is fine showing black victims.

The theory that the pilot had anything to do with the crash is a stupid one, but it will exist, and random members of the media might bend their reporting around certain facts, to deprive stupid and false narratives of oxygen. That's pretty common actually.
As for the theory that Coulter expressed plain ol' racism with her post, I'm not even clear which plain ol' racist assumption she would have been making. She was talking about the reporting.

I believe he was a former Navy SEAL or something too. Sometimes there's too much oxygen begin given to internet trolls.
