Interesting. I think you are probably right @jolly but from my experience there, there are a lot of potential issues with India (rising salaries, corruption, potential instability, etc.). @xenon may have more insight.
I think companies will look to move even more to many different countries and not again become too dependent on one country (like they did with China)
I think long, long, long term (30-50 years), Africa will be the next Asia in terms of cheap labor, manufacturing, etc. If Africa can get one stable and vision leader there (out of the 50+ countries), that could be the start. But it is a BIG BIG assumption by me. LOL

For example, the country of Nigeria will be the world's 3rd most populous country in the next 30 years, only behind India (#1) and China (#2).
