This is in line with one of Paul Graham’s themes from that excellent essay. Young folks never align themselves with the prigs. In days gone by you had the freedom loving hippies on the left vs the buttoned up republicans with their church lady wives on the right. For the youth vote, no contest.
Now the ‘church ladies’ (think SNL and Gilda Radner) are the language police and Halloween costume police on the left.

Not only Paul Graham, I've been saying that here for years. That the cultural conservatives are on the left. That the psychological phenotype of the middle aged educated progressive white women, is that of the church ladies of the past.
-
Yeah that the woke women are the new church ladies is often noted. The psychology behind it is unchanged likely for eons but first showed up in politics in the prohibition movement. (Not earlier as they had no political power).
Fewer have commented on how young people find that naturally repellant.

I doubt that. But I was saying it before it was often noted, in any case.
I've also noted that young people find it repulsive. It would be a rare thing for you to come across a cultural insight in your twitter feed, that I haven't already had. You should read more of my posts, they are pretty awesome.

You might not be as original as you believe. You are rather new to the subject of politics.

Your collection of insights from your twitter feed is difficult to compete with, but I've been noticing and pondering culture since before the internet. Since before I knew that culture was the primary thing to think about, if you wanted to understand anything about humans.

Horace 1.0 pondered human nature (lizard brain anyone???).
It was my posts, and only my posts, and nobody else’s posts, that got you thinking about culture.

I'm sure that's your truth. Actually, I'm sure you're trolling, and you expect this bit of absurdity to bother me (to indulge your sadism, as trolls do). But careful not to betray some narcissism in the trolling attempt. Jon 1.0 hid that better, though the sadism and contempt for others was always obvious. Midwits gonna mid, and they can't hide forever.

Was there really a Jon 1.0? Or did the two versions of Horace view Jon differently? Did Jon really go from the master of practical wisdom to the paper-thin midwit? Or is that just the story you told yourself?

You're functionally intelligent, I've never taken that away from you. Even from the surface level of understanding you may have for my posts, I've never taken that away from you. The "master of practical wisdom" framing is your own, or, more accurately, the story you tell yourself.
But of course I do reserve the right to change my opinions of people over time, as we all do.
