It says the intoxicant effects may take two hours to come on. That seems like a long time and quite inefficient.

Yes and no. You can hang with your buddies drinking beer and keep up with them.

Yeah, but by the time you've had a few it will hit you like a ton of bricks. Much like liquor, it'll sneak up on you and then WHAM!

The double or triple IPAs are the same way. To me, they taste great, but they are delayed boozy bombs not to underestimate.
