She's killing her career, no studio will risk their money on her, or at least we can hope. There are few people who represent the "rich, vocal, woke-out-of-touch, tolerant except for views I disagree with, insulated NY bubble" category more than her... she was probably surprised when Trump won, too.

OTOH, I don't think this flop hurts Gadot at all.

I think most of the movie goers will be rooting for the evil queen…

Oddly fascinating review considering I have no interest in the movie. It’s rare for me to watch an entire video but I did.

              I watched the movie.
Not bad, just not quite up to par compared to Disney's other major feature films.
Many scenes where the set just seems fake -- you'd think they could do better with the CGI.
Best special effects/CGI scenes are (1) when the Queen transform into an old hag (looks so "natural") and (2) the broken glass/mirror scene (very realistic physics/ray tracing).
Plot is fine, though the romantic subplot between the protagonist and the male lead feels extraneous.

I took my kids to watch the Mufasa (Lion King) movie. I think it's been out since Christmas. Anyway, it was a fine movie... but holy crap the quality of the "animation" is borderline impossible to tell that it's computer generated. Very impressed. Here's a clip.

I miss those days. Now, my daughter want's to watch TV with me, but it's always the most emotionally difficult and horrific stuff. We just barely got through The Last of Us over spring break.

                    I was only joking

I have some Disney stock, so I'm hoping they do well.

In order to improve ticket sales, #Disney is adding a scene where Snow White and the seven dwarves set fire to a #TeslaCybertruck.

Rotten Tomatoes audience score is at 74%, compared to critic score of 44%. The opposite of what bad politicized films usually are. Strange.

There may have been politicization leading up to the release of the film, but there really isn't much politicization in the film itself. It's still an entertaining film. In the theater I saw families bringing little girls dressed in Disney styled Snow White costumes and they enjoyed the film just fine.

It would be interesting to know how many of the reviews on both sides are written by people who've actually seen the movie.

I'm not going to watch a kids movie I'm not interested in just so that I can write a review about it.

One of my most vivid memories in the US was when I was taken by some friends to see the midnight showing of "Rocky Horror Picture Show".

That was an eye opener for sure!!! 555

You don't want to be around people who go to midnight showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show. They will also want to take you to gay pride parades, mark my words.
