Obvious bs but useful. Now we know the pardons were justified.

    Only non-witches get due process.

Trump didn't originate this story. He's commenting on what he's reading and hearing.

Obama is the originator of heavy autopen use. And for some things that have no national impact (Congrats to the Brownie troop in Ohio that sold the most GS cookies, etc ), who cares?

      But a presidential pardon?

      C'mon, man!

Yeah, a whole lot of nothing.

For example, Electronic signatures are recognized as being legally valid.

A hypothetic - a president seriously breaks his writing hand, forcing a cast from fingertip to wrist. Does the government come to a stop because he cannot sign?

It’s all about the gossip value of the story. Nothing more….well maybe a coffee and a doughnut.

            Not quite.

Is an autosig from a dementia patient valid?

I suppose from a legal point, it would be decided case by case. Subject would be examined and medical people would provide their opinions to a judge.

              Anyway

Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution, which grants presidents broad clemency powers, says the pardon only needs to be “accepted by its subject” to take effect — and does not mention anything about reversing them after the fact.

“The argument that the pardon fails because it was signed by an autopen fails at the get-go, because there's no requirement that the pardon even be signed,” he explained.

If it is not signed, how do we know if the President authorized the pardon?

                  or acknowledged formally isn't valid

He said the autopen was used without Mr. Biden's knowledge or consent.

“The fact is, they were probably responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!”

I expect the Biden crime family will stick together on this and simply say that Mr. Biden was aware of the autopen's use.

Unfortunately a result of Trump's incessant penchant for misleading facts has resulted in a boy who has cried wolf so many times you can't trust even the most basic claims.

In other words, Trump makes shit up ALL the time, and loves to play the "many people have told me" cowardly way to remain innocent if something he claims turns out to be malarkey.

Not really, it just gets called that by the TDS crowd.

                    But you knew that.

Trump is as honest as the day is long, as they say every Christmas at the north pole.

                      I was only joking
