Is our progressive governors learning?

Conservative media (and Trump's speech of two days ago) continues to be obsessed with this issue. I am sure they are right that all the political profit is right there for the taking, just by dunking on this over and over. Democrats who continue to be behind this, just want to self-immolate. It would be nice to re-center the political discourse away from this obvious win for the right, so that some more reasonable push-back against Trump might find some footing.

For this particular subject, it has gotten way more press than its overall realistic impact. But, "kudo" to the republics for using it and showing that the democrats were out of touch on social issues.

AJW did a video about an example of a progressive pundit who will happily die on the hill, and take any political movement she's attached to, down with her. 13 minutes is a long way to go for the point, but to summarize, Emma Vigeland is a co-host of Sam Seder's show The Majority Report, a very long running and popular progressive channel and podcast. Emma gets really self-righteous and angry over the trans stuff. She'll happily self-immolate over it. I guess this is fairly common. Martyr wannabes are a disease on any political movement with pretenses towards mainstream success.
