What vitamins (etc) do you take?

I take a daily multivitamin. I have no idea if it does anything. Sometimes I see adds for probiotics (promote "good gut health"), but who knows.

Nothing
I was going to start taking fish oil until I saw the price, so I bought some fish instead.

Multivitamin. Some extra Vit C in the winter.
Probiotics work pretty well for some folks and are a must when you're on antibiotics. But they don't confer any lasting benefit when you stop taking them.

Vitamin D, a multivitamin, lots and lots of magnesium (prograf causes hypomagnesemia), calcium, and folic acid (for the hemolytic anemia). Also niacinamide (a form of B3) to help keep skin cancers in check (mycophenalate, another tx med, increases skin cancer risk by 60-100x).

I thought I read somewhere that multivitamins don’t really do anything?

If I had to give up one of my vitamins it would be that. I eat rather healthily and probably don’t need it even if it does work. The other stuff I have special reasons to need.

I told the doctor I take One-A-Day
He said you don't need it
I said it makes my wife happy
He said, take it

I try to eat a balanced diet, and work out for 1 1/2 hours a day. Oh, and the sad part--I gave up drinking entirely. I think that is all you need.

Multi, sometimes a D and/or B combo, Coq10, Folic acid. Used to take fish oil but I eat a fair amount of fish, so I stopped, plus they said it didn't make any difference.

You're more machine than man, now.

If you have a good, balanced diet, probably not.
Now, how many of us always have a good balanced diet everyday?

Some of them are ridiculously expensive and I really don't believe you need them. I appear to be in the minority in this view, both here and at home.

Multivitamins and minerals combo pill in days when I don't feel my regular food intake gives me sufficient nutrients. Iron supplements because I donate blood several times a year.

I figure the multi just couldn’t hurt. Kirkland so not expensive.

Same, though Vitamin C throughout the year when I remember. LOL
Vitamin D when I remember.
Also take apple cider vinegar when eating (also when I remember)
Agree with everybody that multi- vitamins may not too much. But, I dont think that they really will hurt you either.

I’ve heard you should treat fish oil like a food. Make sure it’s high quality and relative fresh. Eat it with your meal (they say your body absorbs it differently vs taking it alone). Make sure the amount is high enough.
