        I wonder how much is also due to birthrates. Strongly religious Christians tend to have more kids.

            I have mentioned several times here that the wave of conservatism among young males has carried with it some respect for religion, or at least a diminishment of the disrespect for it that characterized prior generations.

            Education is extremely important.
