Don't think Bobby has ever been against classic childhood vaccines made without thimerosol.

@Jolly said in Maybe holocausts aren’t that bad after all:
Don't think Bobby has ever been against classic childhood vaccines made without thimerosol.
He wrote in a forward to a 2021 book that Americans have been “misled … into believing that measles is a deadly disease and that measles vaccines are necessary, safe, and effective.” He added that measles outbreaks “have been fabricated to create fear” to “inflict unnecessary and risky vaccines on millions of children.”

This is the same paper that says Trump is unwell and possibly dying.

You can find the book.
And my holocaust reference came from him. He said the measles vaccine is a “holocaust”.

It’s quoted in various places, so you’re going have to shoot a few more messengers if you want to try and deny he said it.
It’s not exactly out of character is it?

I didn't deny he wrote it, but I dont think he's going to fool with basic childhood vaccination programs. I do think they will review efficacy, scheduling and recommendations. And I think mRNA vaccines are in for intense scrutiny.
Trump said before appointing Kennedy, there was an understanding that there were some places he couldn't go. OTOH, Trump thought Kennedy would be huge plus, primarily in food additive and diet policy.
We have dyes in our food that Europe will not use. We have higher levels of sugar in our food than the rest of the world. We use a huge amount of corn syrup rather than more natural sugars. We have schools with no physical education programs. We have elementary schools that have severely curtailed recess period and the activity that goes with them. We have AFDC programs that allow recipients to buy food that is horrible for them. We badly need to rework the Food Pyramid. And we have millions of Americans without basic cooking skills and nuitrition knowledge.
Change is needed. Maybe Kennedy is high profile enough to make a difference.

So do we think someone read him the right act about his initial "outbreaks happen all the time" response?
In any case, if he's willing to back of on his more...outlier beliefs, and focus on nutrition/fitness, I'm happy.

I'd be more than happy if Kennedy can push through some improvements to health. The corn syrup, artificial additives etc. and the general food culture are definitely something begging for reform. I still find his views on vaccination very worrying.

“Inflict” the vaccine.
What’s next? Commit vaccination?
At any rate for every good sign such as this there are two bad ones (canceling ACIP meetings, and the other group that decides which strains go in the next flu vaccine)
