Trump bails the Tate brothers out

@jon-nyc said in Trump bails the Tate brothers out:
I haven’t really followed these two, but IIRC the whole reason they were in Romania to begin with is that they have no extradition treaty with the US. Which implies to me they were wanted here.
Anyone know the details?
They don’t get talked about in mainstream conservative punditry. Not even on the Rogan sphere as far as I’m aware.

As far as I can tell from NYT Trump is not involved other than the fact the brothers support him.

Being repulsive is not a crime.

They're also wanted for rape and human trafficking in the UK.

So I actually have to ratchet down the credence I give to jon's posts. We may be getting into Zeno's paradox numbers, where I'm halving infinitesimally small amounts.
Not for the first time, I realize that my greatest personal failing, is that I am too generous.

It was reported the other day that the Trump administration was pressuring the Romanian government to end their travel restriction. I believe I posted about it here.

It was reported by the Financial Times. I could post a link but you’d just get the headline, it’s totally paywalled.

They're American citizens not charged with any crime being detained in a foreign country. Isn't that what a president should do? Or should he only defend the ones we like?
Are they vile? It would seem so. But that's not a reason to deny them support any citizen would receive. If Romania ends up charging them they have to return. This is a big nothingburger.

They're British dual citizens. Apparently, they're not sending their best.
Present company excepted, of course.
