    Came across this video, apparently it happened near Chile yesterday. Dad films as his son is initially swallowed by a humpback whale then spit out. Good comments too about how this is a story no one would believe without the video, along with some great puns.

    That being said... I was looking on YouTube for a better version and I guess humpback whales somewhat commonly attempt to swallow kayakers, WTF.

    So if you're offered a chance to "go kayaking and whale watching", you might want to pass. It's not exactly thalassophobia but I know when I'm out on the open water (like on a jet ski) I have an irrational fear of a large animal swimming beneath me.
