    They spelled ‘his’ wrong.

Wait, I thought his female teammates loved him?

First off, let me say that I agree with this policy.

But...... it is an awful lot of attention and work for a relatively small problem.

I think that the leader of the NCAA said that there are 510,000 athletes in the NCAA and about 10 of them are transgender athletes

(Cant find the link, so apology if my numbers are incorrect)

That's 10 more than there should be. I agree that it looks small, but it is not. It's a tyranny of a tiny, tiny minority demanding the rest of us play along with their delusion and it's a very bad precedent.

Really if there were only one trans person on earth, but we were coerced into pretending to not believe in biological sex on his behalf, and we were subject to punishment from institutions for not complying, it would still be too much.

            Only non-witches get due process.

Also this needs to be viewed as a piece with the general proscription of trans-identified biological males from women’s spaces.

In rape crisis centers and prisons the stakes are much higher.

              Only non-witches get due process.

the "small number, so who cares" argument appears self-defeating, as if it's a small number of trans people banned from women's sports, then why do progressives care so much.

                Education is extremely important.

I don't agree with Ms. Rowling on a lot of political issues, but she's been right about this one from the start and suffered a lot of grief for her position.

Did you read the fine print? It's interesting.

                      • Yes, males may no longer compete in women's sports. Although they can still practice on their team and get full student-athlete benefits.
                      • Females may still compete in men's sports.
                      • Females who have started hormone therapy can no longer compete in women's sports.

Isn't that just a return to classic Title IX?

You mean that section of the civil rights act that is enforced by the Department of Education?

Not the first bullet point. That’s not traditional

                          Only non-witches get due process.

The first bullet point is odd as hell, and still poses the number one problem most female athletes had with all of this. Men in women’s spaces.
