    @jon-nyc

    For shits and giggles someone should suggest Trump annex Gaza for a future exclusive resort just to see if he repeats it In a tweet or better, during one of his daily pontification sessions from the Oval Office.

    Hilarity and mayhem are sure to follow.

      @Mik said in Power in numbers?:

      It had zero chance of success. I’ve wondered all along what he really wanted.

      I think John Bolton might have answered that during an interview shortly after the election:

      "He does not have a philosophy. He does not do grand strategy on national security. He doesn't do policy as we normally understand that term ... There's no master plan. That's beyond Trump's capability". ~ John Bolton

      Possibly. But when you start with that you know will be rejected subsequent ideas appear more palatable.

          Some people would consider getting elected president to be grand.

          But being president is not for everyone.

            So you purposely edit out the words ‘on grand strategy’ to expand the meaning of his sentence, without which your comment would be an obvious non sequitur?

                    Egypt gets a large aid package. I could see the Donald using that as leverage.
