That young man has a quick mind. Brennan on the other hand, keeps trying to dominate the discussion, drive it to anti-Trump where she wants to go. Orange man bad.

Haven't been tracking all the executive orders or legislative proposals ... Since the inauguration, has the new administration took any action that would lower prices?

No idea. However, I don't see how any action by any administration would actually lower prices. Curb inflation? Yes.
Actually lower prices? Short of imposing price controls, I don't see it.

By the way, gas prices are almost $.20 lower than they were before the election. Mostly because the Saudis dumped a helluva lot of oil on the market, but it is well known that for good or ill, Trump has a strong relationship with the Saudis and it wouldn’t be that crazy to suggest that Trump’s impending administration was a factor in the move.

If energy goes down prices should drop. How much is anyone's guess.

Why compare to "before the election" rather than "before the inauguration?"

Because the numbers work in his favor if he chooses that date?

Not at all, it’s because that’s when the Saudis started dumping the oil, as I said in the post. The question is whether you think the impending Trump administration had any impact on the Saudi decision.

Not exactly accurate since the Saudis still haven’t dumped any oil on the market:

So if your prices at the pump dropped it was for another reason much closer to home. Will let you figure it out.

Maybe because there's a different vibe since Trump was elected?
It's quite obvious.

That’s nice news from this week, but the Saudis have been lowering prices all year, with an acceleration in October. And they also started threatening $50 barrels around then, too.

That’s still not what’s dropping your price at the pump.

Here's the interview for anybody interested. He has be the most rhetorically formidable vice president of my lifetime. Imagine Kamala going on Fox and performing like this. These were some hard questions.

Indeed, she was well prepared, and clearly quite pleased with herself each time she thought she had him cornered. Ultimately, only made him look better.

Yep. He’s smart, quick on his feet and very well informed. I could see him in the top seat in four years. Can you imagine the underlying principles without the bombast.
I also think he honestly believes in what they’re doing.

VANCE: I don't want my children to share a neighborhood with people who are not properly vetted. And because I don't want it for my kids, I am not going to force any other American's kids to have to do that either.
BRENNAN: No, and that was a very particular case, and it wasn't clear he was radicalized when he got here or...while he was living here...
VANCE: (cutting in) I don't really care, Margaret. I don't want that person in my country, and I think most Americans agree with me.

9/11 was a very particular case too. What earthly difference does that make? Just because they’re not slaughtering a coed every day we shouldn’t worry about it?
