Which is sort of why all the memes of Superman or random politicians caught in a split-second photo with their arm extended fall flat.
A nazi salute is an action, a motion. A still photo of a guy doing jumping jacks caught at just the right moment isn’t quite the same thing.
When you shake someone's deep sense of self-worth, leaving a scar in their ego, they will persistently try to diminish you through petty arguments & obsessive captious criticism of your actions, just to soothe the wound.
