Even Bill Gates is trying the public flattery thing to keep him sane on polio vaccines.
Trump’s like a dog but without any of the good qualities they possess. But he does love to be told he’s a good boy.

At that point, there will be no connection and enough time to see how long term effective things were under Trump, Biden, Obama, etc.

Yes and it really takes that long. Presidents might be praised or looked down on for things that contemporary generations didn’t give much consideration to at all. It’s easy to imagine scenarios that could send certain president’s reputations much higher or much lower.

There's the famous quote by the Chinese premier when Kissinger asked him for his opinion on the French revolution - "Too early to say", although disappointingly this arose from a mis-translation of what he actually meant.
