Im reminded of a comment Cokie Roberts made last time around.
Between his election and inauguration some were saying that maybe he’d rise to the office and become presidential.
Her comment was ‘whenever people say he’ll change I ask them how many 70 year old men they know’
So the question now would be ‘how many 78 year old men do you know?’

He won't be as completely surrounded by opposition this time around, so the same person can be expected to react to less stimulus in a less severe manner. What opposition there is will certainly do their best to provoke him, but everything from the cabinet to the staff to the media will be less empowered this time around. Not least because they've spent so much of their social capital trying to beat the guy, and they've lost. People lose respect for losers. That's just the way of humanity.

I heard about it today and had the same reaction. An almost hard-to-describe annoyance at the degradation Trump has brought to the office. I know... Clinton got BJs and Biden was a propped up corpse, but Trump has almost made it numb to think about what it was like before him. A multiple-bankrupt celebrity, caught on tape joking about sexually assaulting women, commits adultery, found liable for sexual assault, fires FBI directors, has like 75% of his previous staff voting against his re-election, guilty of felonies, making fun of the disabled, pretending to care about the Bible for a photo op, mishandling classified information, guilty of fraud, two impeachments, responsible for multiple people going to jail or going bankrupt or dying, launching meme coins right before he takes the oath again. I mean wtf.

Earlier today, the president’s daughter Ivanka warned her social media followers not to fall for a scam crypto coin called $IVANKA that, she said, “is being promoted without my consent or approval.”
I would love to hear someone articulate why it would be any less of a scam if she were the one promoting it.
Maybe a better way to phrase it would have been ‘this is someone else scamming you, not me’.

, just out of the circle of light.Face it, with the exception of Barron, I doubt any of the Trump kids understand Bitcoin. Somebody made a pitch and they took it.
