Mashed up ripe pears, chopped onions, ginger, salt and pepper. Saute some chicken in that after you reduce it some, serve over rice. (If you wanna get fancy, add in some vinaigrette and maybe some thyme.)

Chili: tomato stuff (paste, sauce, cubed tomato, what the hell ever), 3 kinds of beans, ground beef, onion, pepper. (Fancy version: add cumin, oregano, coriander.)

Stir fry: mix some Sriracha, garlic and soy sauce in a ceramic mug. About half a cup, mostly of soy. Simmer for 10 min on your range. Add it to a large pan of sliced veggies and chicken/shrimp/steak, cook on high heat, serve over rice. (Fancy version: use the garlic pepper paste they have at Chinese restaurants instead of the Sriracha, and add some ginger.)

DIY Chipotle: look you know what they have there, just make a bowl. (Fancy version: add juice from half a lime to your rice cooker. For the sautéed veggies, add salt, pepper and turmeric.)

    Please love yourself.

      Aqua: simple foods fail. 😂

Are you serious? That's all ghetto as hell! I mean it'll work, but it's a shitload closer to Ramen than it is Gordon Ramsey.

        Please love yourself.

Or for anybody who doesn't cook a lot...Got any entrees that are super-easy to cook and don't use any oddball ingredients?

          Simple, tasty, and quick..

1 pound ground beef browned, then stir in some steak sauce to taste. Open a can of yellow corn a can of green peas, and a can of sliced carrots. Stir it all together and dump in a casserole dish. Make a batch of buttermilk cornbread, pour the cornbread mix over the top and cover everything good, then pop it into the oven preheated to 425 and bake until the cornbread is done and golden brown.

Or, cover with mashed potatoes and shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

Mix together 1 cup mayo, 1/2 cup parmesan, and 1 T oregono. Put a pound of boneless chicken breasts in the pan and spread this mixture over them. Bake at 375 for 45".

This has the added advantage of looking very pretty, so it'd be great for serving to guests.

              Thanks, everyone!
But of course this thread is not only directed at me, so everyone benefits. Frankly, several of the dishes you all deem "easy" are already over my head.

I've got one for you all!
Costco salmon filet. Punch holes in the filet every inch or so, mash margarine into the holes. Sprinkle garlic stuff powder (green label, has white cheese and flakes of green mixed in with the garlic powder), but not too much of this, just kinda like dust it. Add extra margarine to the plate so the garlic powder and margarine end up like a bit of gravy. Cover loosely with saran wrap, nuke for about 7 minutes.

1 cup minute rice + 1 cup water in a bowl (duh), nuke for 4 minutes (not sure, need to read the box again, I always forget).

End result: Perfect salmon and white rice dinner. Don't overcook the salmon. The margarine/garlic gravy helps make the rice eatable.

                Buy banana. Peel banana. Eat.

                Still too complicated? Try this:

                Buy apple. Eat.

Cherries, man. It's cherry season. You can sidle up to the display, eat a cherry like you are making sure they are good. Move on and test the grapes the same way. Return to cherries. Then grapes. Repeat until full. No need for undignified escapes.

Rainman, do you have a barbecue pit or a smoker?
