I’m sure @George-K has a good solution for me, but whenever I go to websites on my phone, it seems I have to first “x” out of the pop-up subscription request, and then “accept” cookies, and then if I’m lucky, there aren’t too many ads to dodge. Is this 1997 again?

I appreciate why Fahlo tried to get you to sign up immediately. The El Torito opt out for selling your information is obnoxious.
