If there is any significant number of attacks you can kiss the Democrats goodbye for 8 years.

Weird coincidence that this guy and the driver of the Tesla bomb both rented their vehicles from the same app.

What app is that?

I suspect it was Turo . Airbnb for cars.

Yeah it was Turo. I used it a few years ago when it was impossible to get rental cars. It met the need but I haven't used it since because rental cars are accessible again.

@George-K said in 10 Killed in NOLA:
That whole interview is interesting. First off, he thought the FBI immediately saying this was not a terrorist attack was stupid. Second, he's going to hold the FBI accountable for this investigation with an intense focus on the truth. This is a man who does not want to be lied to or stonewalled.
It's a shame we have gotten to this point, where U.S. Senators no longer trust the Bureau...

The presser was pretty much a disaster. Lots of platitudes, grandstanding and posturing, no real information. Kennedy was the only person that made much sense.

Ah yes the FBI. It's a lawfare just-us organization that needs to be cut while also come on FBI why didn't you stop this?
Also, lost in the headlines, this happened yesterday too: https://apnews.com/article/homemade-bombs-seized-virginia-firearms-c68488480ef8bd3de7b432272399aa28
No, I don't work for the FBI. But I have friends that do, and you would (or wouldn't?) be surprised with how much they thwart beforehand.

Not really what I was expecting. I wonder how much of this was mental health as opposed to religious fanaticism.

He became radicalized in the last two years. His ex-wife's husband said that it drove her crazy.

Probably quite a lot. Authorities are now stating they believe he acted alone and no one else was involved as previously thought. Moreover no links are showing up with the Tesla bomb in Vegas.
A rabid lone wolf nutter.

Again, resources are not unlimited.
What are your priorities?
People's lives?
Or an exhibition of power?

I don't know anything about this one. On the list of probabilities, I don't put border issues near the top. Maybe we'll get a manifesto. If there were two of them, linking the Las Vegas guy to the NOLA guy, I would hope we get a manifesto, I mean if we're all in agreement that such a document is of public value.
