New Year’s Eve Plans?

I’m worried that Luke might be a little too mature. He Messengered us at 7:10 (12:10) in London. He, Hanna, and friends were back from the pub, toasted New Years in the hotel bar, and were on their way back to their rooms so they could have a good night’s sleep before the parade.
These are 21 year olds, visiting London… On New Year’s Eve…
I would have been crawling back into the room sometime between 5AM and 7AM…

Last time I was in Rome I was 27 with two buddies. I vividly recall walking back home after a late night dance pub (out door bar) not knowing what time it was. Stereotypically without trying, we walked past the coliseum and sat for a second. My friend asked me if the coliseum is like 100 years old so clearly he was hammered. Then we figured it was 1am. It was 4:45am!

Wow! Just watched the radar replay. Looks almost like there was a mini derecho whipping northeast in the middle of the larger rain front heading towards NY.

Finley finally laid down, but wouldn’t unless Karla laid down with him. I’m supposed to go wake her up in 15 minutes. I hope I don’t fall asleep in the meantime

Dinner was Costco vegetable spring rolls. and soup made with leftover Costco rotisserie chicken.
Trying to decide if I should open a bottle of red wine or just do grocery store eggnog with a splash of vodka. What do you think?

Still feeling too full to have a proper glass of red wine, much less eggnog. Opting for a small shot of maotai instead.
