    How come?

    Only non-witches get due process.

Wow, it’s good to feel human again…

@jon-nyc This is typically our busiest week of the year. I guess a lot of families don’t want that piano to be a Christmas gift as it’s too large, but they also don’t want to miss the savings events or the special financing. It may also have to do with year-end bonuses? We will also see a few larger ticket sales come in out of nowhere. Just some dude that comes in, first time in, doesn’t play, and walks out with a C7X Disklavier or a Bosie or something.

And Karla’s schedule gets no better. Maybe worse. Luke flies out to London on Saturday, so even that small bit of help is gone…

Oh, and our company goes on a calendar year, so I also have to get together all of my year end reporting and such…

You’ll make more commission. My heart breaks for you. 😆

It varies by year, but I believe somewhere close to 20% of my annual income is generated mid-November through January 1.

Yeah I went to bed at 1. Up now to wrap. No assembly required.

              Merry Christmas, bro.

I don't get it. I'm not saying I'm done in November, but man... Christmas is a known date. Why wait to buy or wrap? I usually try to have everything wrapped by like Dec 15 or so. My wife waits a bit longer and then she gets stressed and I (wisely) don't make the same comment of.... you knew this was coming, why did you wait? Mentally I just tell myself that Christmas is is like December 18th so I have to be done by then.

That being said, I do recall being up to like 2am assembling a play house for our (then 2 year old) daughter one year before Christmas. Assembly... slowly shifting to just installing batteries, as our kids are 6, 4, and almost 2.

Because some discounts/sales events don’t come early enough?

I just moved house and there have always been higher priorities in terms of demands on my time. I made the cut so it’s cool.

I feel that. I'm constantly cleaning up after the kids and yet my office is a mess. I actually enjoy a neat and tidy space yet I sit in probably the most chaotic room as my time is almost always spent elsewhere.
