    Yep. It all came from that stupid white cat meme. I think.

    But if my name were Karen (a very pretty name) I'd be plenty pissed.

      I do feel bad for normal folks named Karen who are innocent casualties of this meme, but I agree with @George-K that it's a temporary (hopefully) thing just like Boomer.

      Although I do recall someone making a funny joke/observation recently, of "Have you ever met a baby named Karen?" πŸ˜†

        I have a really good friend, maybe my best friend, who lives in Wales, and whose wife is named Karen. She would rip your arm off and beat you to death with the bloody end. And what's more, she would enjoy doing it. Needless to say, she is one of my favourite people in the world. He's bloody lucky to be married to her.

        I was only joking

          @Doctor-Phibes funny you should mention.

          One of my former associates (whom I see every couple of months for breakfast) has a wife whose name is Karen.

          They have two sons, one in the Navy, the other is a Marine. They work in nuclear engineering and intelligence, respectively.

          Anyhow, Karen was, for a while, into body building - I don't know if she still is. But, like your friend, she could beat me up. Jim was always a "no bullshit" guy. He married the same.

          The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

                  Isn't that the truth. But you need their full name - Karen Stalin.
