"Ruprecht, if you don't behave we'll have to get the genital clamp."

This movie needs to be watched again.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I watched it during Covid with the boy. We went through all the Steve Martin comedies.

      Hilarious and entertaining.

      Only non-witches get due process.

So few comedies these days that rise to a standard like this.

        Tootsie...
        Mrs. Doubtfire...
        Young Frankenstein...
        Mr. Mom..

Granted "Blazing Saddles" is in a different league, but I'm looking for great smart comedies.

What else? In the last 20 years does anything else rise to the standard of "Great comedy that doesn't insult the FUCK out of you?"

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was the first "grown up" movie I watched (was probably 7 or 😎 and it was funny as a kid and even funnier as an adult.

That video above... Caine is dying laughing inside the whole time. Subtle lines "as you were saying, you don't think the poor should be allowed into museums..."

You know, if you say "My cocaine," it sounds like Michael Caine saying his name.

I had no idea that this was originally meant for Bowie and Jagger. Honestly can't see how they would have made this better.
