    A bullshit New-Agey thing, but still…

    CBS Sunday just did a piece on it.

        Ridiculous, and the link contradicts itself.

          I listen to ASMR on flights and it immediately puts me to sleep. I've been a fan of it for a while. What's funny is it reminds me of one of my earliest memories, when I was at the library as a kid and a librarian was reading a book quietly to kids, and every time she would turn the plastic-protected cover it made me so sleepy LOL

            Another good comment in that link... "I fall asleep to Bob Ross talking and the sounds of his painting technique", can't argue with that!

              @89th

              In my case it’s Robert Clotworthy’s voice. There is nothing that puts me to deep
              sleep faster than the sound and cadence of his voice narrating a History Channel pseudo-documentary or reality show.

                I've been listening to Robert E Howard's Conan stories for bedtime stuff recently. Various narrators.

                  For me, David Attenborough. Love the stuff he talks about, but his voice is so soothing. That and Law and Order reruns. All dialogue based so you can close your eyes and listen to it. Out in five minutes or less.
