Jaguar sales in the US have dropped from 40K in 2017 to about 8K last year. So the answer to Elon’s question would be “no, not really”…

In all fairness, the Land Rover does really well internationally.

You see a lot of Jags in the UK, at least relatively.

    I was only joking

I can’t find UK specific data, but the Europe numbers dropped from 80K in 2018-19 to 23K last year, and I believe that includes Land Rover. They are not in a good place right now.

But, you'll never hear me saying that the Cybertruck is attractive.

I had one come up behind me on my drive into work. It was still dark, and I couldn't figure out what the hell the lights were from as they were in such a weird configuration. Then it passed me, and all was made vomit-inducingly clear.

Yeah, with jags it’s normally just the drivers that make you nauseous.

I know three people with Jaguars, all problematic, extremely expensive to repair and very difficult to get parts for. I assume they did not copy dependability.

Speaking of cars - Jeeps are a vehicle that a lot of people want to own - and yet, year after year are terribly built - and nearly anyone who has owned one never wants to buy another. Why is that in 30 years of such a record (they're still being built) no one has been able to make them a better vehicle? Subarus were horrible cars at one point with a wretched reputation - but concentrated on fixing that - and now, they have a decent reputation - at least, better than Jeep.

I would never again buy a Stellantis product. I've had a 97 Plymouth Voyager, a 2000 Dodge Ram, both brand new, and an 88 Jeep Commanche pickup. The $800 Commanche was the only decent vehicle in the bunch after 60K miles.
