Speaking of 2 weeks, here is Jon Stewart's take. The writing is pretty good in this episode, and most is making fun of the democrats, so even @Jolly might enjoy it. Anyway, at 6:00 talks about press conferences... ok enough from me, I'll wander into the jungle now.

Mr. Stewart seems to be ignoring the fact that it was Schumer’s breaking of norms that has allowed the Republicans to take some of the steps that they have.
