Yeah. Less than enthused with Trump’s selections so far.

A leftist kook for HHS and a child transition promoter to run Medicare/Medicaid.
Can someone remind me which party won?

It’s about power for him. He’d run as a democrat if it meant he got elected. He knew his path to ratings was challenging Obama’s birth certificate, his path to power was to take advantage of the fractured 2016 GOP primary field, it’s all about power, not principle.

There is some heavy pushback coming from a lot of conservative influencers. I’m curious to see where this goes.

How funny would it be if he declared himself a democrat while in office and totally flipped on all his positions?

I think this is 75% him rewarding those loyal or those he's connected with, and 25% 4D chess that positions these picks as bad so he gets his otherwise-questionable picks passed easily.

In the first place, he's going to require a lot more loyalty from his cabinet. After his first term, I don't blame him.
In the second place, some of his picks are inspired, some strike me as very specific but temporary, some are meh and a couple are dogs.

Jon would still hit it.
Tulsi, that is.
