Tomorrow’s going to be a long frigging day.

Karla found out that I was driving down to visit a college in the lower peninsula tomorrow. There’s a vet she knows down there that cleans dog’s teeth for $600 less than it costs up here. So she asked if I would mind dropping the Chihuahua off for a teeth cleaning and picking her up in the late afternoon. “Sure says I…”
She told me this evening that I have to have her there between 7:30-8. That means instead of leaving at 7AM to get to my 11:30 meeting, I have to leave at 4AM… Ugh.
Goodnight…

Wow, this place is still running on June 2020 COVID protocols. No entry into the building by the owners. Lining up outside for the vet techs to retrieve the animals, vet techs in masks, wiping down pens and clipboards….

I wonder if the dumb clear plastic "windows" at places will ever come down. For example, at the rental car place in Florida there was one still up... looks awkward on an otherwise normal looking counter.

I saw a report that claimed that, by reducing airflow, COVID was more common in places that put up those shields.
