So that’s Trump’s total electoral vote total. I seem to recall @89th referring to 306 for Biden as a landslide. If 306 was a landslide, then what is 312? Is that a mandate? Sure seems like it to me…

So ... any report on voter fraud or irregularities this time? Has the public's trust in the voting systems been restored? Nobody complains about vote-by-mail and early voting anymore, right?
People are still complaining plenty about not requiring ID to vote. People still complain about it, because it’s still a ridiculous idea, which allows for undetectable fraud.

Several factors...
Yeah, there were still some hijinks, but nothing like 2020. I think that's because:
- There were reforms put in place in multiple states.
- The GOP hired an army of lawyers and were proactive, winning multiple cases before the election.
- Because of the 2020 Cheat, you had a lot more election scrutiny...More poll watchers, more people observing every aspect of the election, more pressure on election officials to "get it right".
Look at Milwaukee: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/milwaukee-orders-recount-of-31000-absentee-ballots-likely-delaying-results-in-wisconsin/ar-AA1tzK33?ocid=BingNewsSerp
- Trump's margin was "Too big to rig".
In the end, election integrity is good for everybody.

Had the result gone the other way you’d be screaming fraud as loud as 2020.

Agreed.
And federal election integrity is something being talked about in the Trump camp. They know that the states have the responsibility of running their own election process, but there may be some things that can be done for Federal elections, particularly Presidential elections. Some things being knocked around...
- ID required to vote in Federal elections.
- A drop-dead cut-off time for counting ballots.
- A national election holiday

I'm still screaming fraud. How much fraud are you comfortable with?

Fraud in this election or just 2020 when your boy lost? I'm concerned Trump doesn't have the energy to be President. I haven't seen him complain about the election process once this time around!

Actually, Trump got 306 and described it as a "landslide" - which was pointed out at the time as a bit of an exaggeration. That was part of the joke when it was similarly described as a "landslide" when Biden got the same number.
Correct. Suck it, LD! But yes... with the popular vote, and a higher electoral vote, and the senate, and the house... it's quite a mandate. Not a man date, that would be geigh. But a mandate... of sorts. Not exactly a Reagan 84 or Nixon 72 mandate, but one nonetheless... the country rejected the Biden/Harris approach they saw for the last 4 years.
-
@89th Are you comfortable with 10-15 million less people voting in this past election? Even though the country has more voters than in 2020? Even though this year, we had about the same turnout as in 2016?
Are you comfortable with the current shenanigans in Pennsylvania?
-
What's up in PA? I haven't really watched the news, I know LD was heading there to get some dog teeth cleaned, and the Redskins lost to the Steelers on an offsides call.
For vote counts, Trump got 74 million, same as what he got in 2016 and Harris got far fewer than Biden, which makes sense since inflation is up, and she's never been popular.
