    This is the sixth presidential election I have been on the forums for, and the fifth for TNCR.

        I think this is a pretty important one.

        A Trump victory might (underline might) restore some sanity to the Democrats. Just as Dukakis begat Clinton, a nice shellacking would do the Dems good.

          My most confident prediction if Trump is re-elected, is that the TDS will be become ever so slightly more self-aware of its ridiculousness. They will start actually feeling like what they always have been - histrionic infants screaming about a phantom in their heads. Which is to say, people won't be quite so confident to walk around advertising how insanely they hate Donald Trump and everybody who voted for him. That'll still happen online in the usual places, but at least, I don't foresee it happening so much in the workplace.

          Education is extremely important.

            If Mr. Trump wins, democrats will claim it is unfair for a boy to run against a girl for president.

            I don't have a good feel whether boys will be banned from competing against girls. It's possible.

              @Horace

              My most confident prediction if Trump is re-elected, is that…

              He will begin behaving as if he is in charge within minutes of election results being called. He will not wait for inauguration day before engaging in wholesale mischief in all spheres of US politics.

              On the other hand if he loses I am confident he will insist the election was again stolen and engage in corresponding wholesale mischief in all spheres of US politics.

              You can decide which scenario will cause the most disruption and chaos.

                Any whining he does will be platformed and amplified by the MSM, strictly for its clicks value and rhetorical sneering value. Whatever chaos it causes, will be intentionally amplified by the messaging entities who purport to be most concerned about the chaos. How much chaos is actually caused by some paperwork that gets batted back by judges in court?

                Now, violent rioting and such are a different story, but while I'm not predicting much of that with any confidence, it's always possible there'll be some riots one way or the other.

                  If he does not win, he will make 1/6 look like a handful of doofusses taking selfies.

                    Personally I have little to no interest or concern what mischief he undertakes domestically inside the US.

                    It’s the mischief he gets into regarding foreign policy that interests and ultimately, affects me.

                    You can have your Trump and eat it too. It’s just not a savoured dish for palettes beyond the borders of select areas in the US.
