Two things that I can’t believe are happening in 2020:
- The cookie/privacy warning on every fucking website.
- Sites that are absolutely choked with ads and other non-content. I almost always hit “reader” view on my iPhone, if the view is enabled.

Soon I think the choice is going to become a) that bullshit, or b) subscribe monthly.

The cookie/privacy notice is driven by privacy laws ... EU enacted GDPR, California enacted CCPA. If you built a website, you might as well make your site GDPR and CCPA compliant for every visitor, including ones that may not hail from the EU or California.

And the options suck and are hard to interpret. Should have two options... track me is okay or don’t track me.
