BTW you'd think politicians would be a bit smarter the week before an election... whether it's rambling off script on a Zoom call or having speakers at your rally fire off insults against people who haven't yet voted.

Biden did this during Harris's speech. That's no accident (though the "garbage" line probably is - or he accidentally said what he thinks).
Rumor is that he's trying to kneecap her campaign because he can't stand her. It was only because of I-forget-which-senator's promise to endorse him if he picked her that she's VEEP. He wanted Whitmer, but promised a DEI hire instead.

It doesn’t have the same panache as “Basket of Deplorable” or “Bitter Clingers”, but it’s a lot more blunt.

"The only garbage I see is his supporter's" indicates he is talking about the garbage owned by a single supporter. If he was talking about the garbage owned by Trump supporters as a group, he would have pronounced the apostrophe after the "s", not before it.
It seems a little fishy.

Just another opportunity for people to engage in performative outrage, jockeying for position on the moral high ground. Those without a sense of humor are at an advantage, and may even feel some genuine outrage, if they're sufficiently neurotic.

So Trump just pulled up for a press conference in a garbage truck with the Trump sign on it. He’s giving the press conference from inside the truck in a workers orange vest…

I really do suspect Biden is using the image of him being senile to purposely crash her campaign.

You know my opinion that there weren’t any true undecided voters regarding who they would vote for. Nobody trying to decide between Donald and Kamala, but instead undecided on IF they were going to vote.
I also didn’t really think there was much of anything left to move the needle. This moved the needle. Whatever percentage of people were wrestling with whether they could vote for Trump feel like they were just insulted by the Democrats. This will push them over that edge.

Right out of the Nazi playbook.
More like the Jimmy Hoffa playbook.

I went to my grandson's Halloween pre-school costume parade this morning.
He was dressed as a garbage truck.
It wasn't a political statement or anything, he just likes garbage trucks.

Haha that is great. We went to our son's preschool for something similar. The kids came out in costume, stood in a line, and sung. My son dressed like Spiderman.
About 30 seconds into it I realized I was taking a video of another random kid who was also dressed in the same spiderman costume.

Finley is going as SpiderMan, too.
