Tucker asks the rhetorical question about whether this is why that guy got into journalism, as if the obvious answer should be no? But political activism is actually why that guy probably got into journalism.

NYT reached out to The Bee...
George, you yourself have been calling many people Nazis, with scant evidence to back up the claims. Are you able to provide evidence to support your allegations?

Well, I don't know that this was a grand scheme to affect the election. You'd have to be pretty stupid to think that demonetizing conservative channels a week before the election would help your cause, when so much of the rhetoric from the right is about how the left loves censorship. I think this was a relatively stupid activist editor at the NYT, making a misstep, as relatively stupid activists will do.

That was one of the reasons I left Journalism in the late 70's. Everybody - and I do mean everybody - wanted to Be Woodward and Bernstein rather than just covering the news.

Yes the way to combat non-serious "journalists" posturing with the mantle of seriousness, under the serious banners of the NYT, is to take them as non-seriously as possible, and dare them to print it seriously.

"Mr. Carlson, in a response to our inquiry stated that he, indeed, has taken a blood oath to Q Anon and other far right organizations. As of press time, he has not responded to our question about his alleged embracing the Nazi party. However, a source reported he was seen wearing a brown shirt."
