If you’re innumerate and don’t adjust for the number of times he ran you might even think it means something.

Trump already has that distinction. 137 million votes over 2016 and 2020. Obama comes into 135 million. No matter who wins in November, Trump is sure to pass over 200 million total votes. That is likely to give him the record until our voting age population passes 350,000,000 if we maintain a turnout of ~65%.That’s at least 100 years in the future. So Trump will likely have the most votes in our lives, our children’s lives, and our grandchildren’s lives.

And possibly will never win the vote count in a given year

If Trump loses in 2024 you gotta believe he'll be back in 2028. And if he loses in 2028....

She has established what a weak candidate she is. Mayor Pete will probably get a shot at some point, and he'll hold his own in any debate or podcast circuit.

@LuFins-Dad - Biden was on the ticket in 2008 and 2012 too, and of course in 2020, so he has by far more votes than Trump. The vote is for the ticket, not the single person! (pedantic...)

Agree. I think that there will be a somewhat unknown person. Who could have predicted Trump in 2012. In 2020, who would have predicted Vance would be where he is today.
