This looks interesting. I use knives, myself, but I can see where this might be a good tool if you had arthritis, hand weakness, etc.

What a pushover I am. Just ordered it. I noticed it can replace two tools, my current mandoline and a french fry cutter that I never really liked.

Just made me chuckle. The lack of comments between your two posts makes it even better.

It's the berries! The only thing I don't love about it is the item to be processed has to fit into the hopper. It will take a medium russet potato though, so you just have to be conscious about what you buy. I sliced up potatoes in no time flat and did not have to be cautious about my hand.

                  I have this guy:

Börner V3 TrendLine Mandoline Starter Set (6 pcs.

I've had it for over 20 years, and it's never failed me. The depth of cut is not adjustable (thick is ¼" , thin is about half that). Dices onion (or whatever) in two sizes as well.

                  Safe veggie holder.

                  Love it.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Yeah, well, listen up. The thickness is just a little dial.

You. Need. This. Get up off some of that gas money.
