The DPRK is not doing just because the goodness of their heart. There is some payment from Russia to North Korea for the troops.
(As a side note, there is actually a large number of DPRK citizens working in the Russia logging industry. If you think that Haitian immigrants are treated badly, check out the life of a DPRK logger in Russia.)

Russians are ready to end it. I suspect that if 31% will answer in the affirmative the number that really feels that way is greater.

Oh oh. I have no idea if the Kyiv Independent is a credible soutce or not.
-
I don't know about Kyiv Indepents' reliability.
However, it is obvious that Ukraine is considering all options, knowing the US are a lame duck for now. And Hungary's Orban, is into foul play by litterally sabotaging European fund schemes. -
Russian ruble imploding?

After all what else are fraternal friends for?
Imagine the howl from the Kremlin if Warsaw sent forces to assist Kyiv in defending itself.

Apparently 18 have already deserted... (you'll need Google translate, sorry for that)

I just dont think that would work at all. Language problems come to mind right away. The level of Russian speakers in DPRK is pretty small. The foreign language emphasis in the near past has been Chinese.

You would be surprised how many Russians are fluent in Oriental languages like Korean. You can be assured many are in the Russian Army and Intelligence Services.

Interesting. Do you think that they would be in a position to support the command of a group of DPRK soldiers?
I suppose these soldiers could not be any worse than the convicts that Russia been using.
