RIP, Herman Cain

Sad.
But he was a Republican so don't expect much mention of it passed a day or two... unlike John Lewis, who's been dead for 2 weeks now and they are still dragging the man's carcass from pillar to post.
Yeah, it's likely getting a little ripe by now.

More proof that Covid should be respected. He looked so healthy and happy on June 20th.
74 is a risk factor alone but the decision making to not to be extra careful given this is a real head scratcher for me:
“In 2006, Cain was given a 30% chance of survival from stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to his liver. He underwent chemotherapy and surgery to remove the cancer from his liver and was declared cancer free in 2007.”
-
Sad. RIP Mr Cain. I still remember 9-9-9.
-
I met him once. The whole situation was weird. Not really because of him, though.
RIP.
-
You think that's still an additional risk factor 13 years after being declared cancer free?

Yeah, but without looking, I'd bet that the responses to that tweet, especially since the news of his passing, have been respectful and restrained, right?
Why would they be? On the other side of things, you have family members who have died and they have to put up with hearing about "plandemic" bullshit.

Tulsa probably killed him. His blood is on trumps hands.

Trump held a gun to his head and made him go?
Nah.
Heard an interesting comment from a cardiologist today...I wish they would spray COVID from crop dusters and we could just get this over with.
Now, I don't think he meant that literally. But the fact remains, we can try to be sterile room careful and chances are very good we will get COVID sooner or later.
The man was living life, not hunkered down in fear. Maybe he should have taken better care of himself. But it's his life.
The Trump comment was beneath you.

Beneath whom? I don't find it.
There are three kinds of people.
- Those who make things happen.
- Those who watch things happen.
- Those who wonder, "What The hell just happened?" .
Cats, bless your heart, I worry about you sometimes...

It’s a good point that some people who know they don’t have much time left want to live their life. It’s another thing to go inside to a crowded place though. There is a middle ground.
