    I never cared for them much when I was a kid, and Lucas only had a small interest. Finley is addicted to these things. He will spend hours working on them. And not the age appropriate ones for 5 year olds. Last year he was building the 7 year old kits. Now he’s working on 10 year old kits. Unfortunately, there are parts that his little finger strength isn’t quite strong enough, meaning Dad has to help.

    Frankly, I’m reminded why I never enjoyed them, but I do enjoy watching him be totally engrossed… Amd he lets me take a break every hour…

        My son still does them occasionally, and he's in his 20's. He grew up doing Bionicles, and it kind of stuck.

          Do you have one of those Lego removal tools? I think it’s like $5 and with it’s weight in gold when trying to take apart small pieces.
