What happens, is that libraries will give them books they have purchased, many of which are public domain, some which are not. They lend the digital books for 14 days, and then the book is no longer readable on your device or your download (unless borrowed again. If someone is waiting for the book, you can't serially borrow the book.

Makes sense. I do download books from my library sometimes and I think that is how it works. If it is public domain book, then the publisher should not be complaining at all.

Yep. I've used OverDrive here and there, and that's how it works.

Rick Beato, who has a popular music channel on youtube, and who we've discussed here on occasion, did a rant video recently on Don Henley, who apparently employs 60 full time people to scour the internet for any unlicensed usage of Eagles or Henley songs. To zero constructive purpose for anybody on the planet, except maybe for those 60 people, who at least have jobs.

a weekevery hour.FIFY. Classic rock stations are mind numbingly repetitive but I'm too cheap to spring for Sirius. Some of those are pretty repetitive too.

We had Sirius for about a year. Mrs. George listens ONLY to oldies and classic rock, and we found the selection limited and repetitive. Finally I made a playlist with the music she likes and put it all on an SD card that’s plugged into the car.
Sirius’s selection of classical stations (both of them) sucked too.
