Writer 1: Hey, here's an idea: Let's have Marty and Doc end up in 2024 in a timeline where Hillary Clinton, Dick Cheney and Bernie Sanders are all backing the same candidate
Writer 2: Dude what are you smoking
Writer 1: ... against Biff Tannen, running for his 2nd term -

I think Nordlinger is missing the point:
Democrats are gloating over the fact that Cheney(s) endorsed Kamala, when he was the nearest thing to Hitler (other than whatever Republican might be near the White House, of course) 20 years ago.

Fair enough.
So they're cheering Hitler's chief of staff because he's not supporting Stalin. That what you're saying?

He’s changed not a whit. The GOP has been completely
redeformed in the last 15 years. So much so that establishment republicans find the Dem candidate a better option. Which gives cover for other Republicans uncomfortable with todays party but who still admire Cheney the cover to do so.Yeah, I’ll cheer to that.

Establishment republicans? Neocons, you mean?
Look, the Northeastern fiscally conservative, socially liberal Republican is pretty much extinct. The rich white collar, snot tracks on the ceiling Republican is dead.
Good.

Writer 1: ... against Biff Tannen, running for his 2nd termHahaha I remember when Trump was first elected, how much he reminded me of Biff in the Back to the Future part 2.

I bet if Reagan were alive he’d vote for Kamala. Trump would have lost him on national security and economics.

Exactly. I haven't changed much since my support for the Bush/Cheney/Rice/et al days. You'd think republicans who previously defended Cheney during the 2000-2007 years see that he's not supporting Trump, you think that would ring a bell. It's amazing what the Church of Trump has done to some of the flock.
