The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

She has really sucked out, I mean lucked out... this is mostly a combination of "glad it's not senile joe, glad it's a woman, glad it's a person of color-ish, glad it's not Trump" reaction. It's about 0.1% "glad it's Kamala... she has done so much and is so electable", but let's not recall how she was trounced in the primaries a few years ago, didn't even make it out of the prelims!
