Again, I don't know. But you have to be a good, strong swimmer, right? You have to be able to hold your breath, and swim while breathing. You have to be strong enough to pull someone out of the water. That's a tall order for someone whose asthma is bad enough to get them out of military service.
Asthma fucks you up when you swim or play football in all but the very lightest of cases.
Swimming is generally recommended as excellent exercise for asthmatics. My doctor recommended I take it up when I was a kid.
Sure is. I was told the same thing. Doesn't mean it doesn't fuck you up.
Conversely, sitting on the couch doing nothing doesn't generally trigger asthma, but that doesn't make it good for asthmatics to do.

LOL - He's outraged by people saying "They want to get a white male on the ticket."

"Wear enough SPF"
Black people can't get sunburned. That sounds pretty racist to me.
Even Joe Scarborough says Harris is a DEI hire.

It’s starting.

Among some Jewish American producers, agents and executives there's a sense that — even if the VP pick was the result of electoral calculations — those calculations come with baked-in antisemitic assumptions about the electorate.

Seems like, at 80, he’s all out of fucks.

Whoops, my bad. He did stand on the tarmac at Bagram.
As part of a Congressional delegation. He conveniently didn't mention that fact in his speech,
He wasn't in the Guard at that time.

89th? Paging 89th....
Just got back from a lake vacation with the family (vacation = just a trip where we relocate the bedtime routine with kids) so I haven't read this thread or most other threads but....
Under Walz it seems we have a surplus (but also higher taxes), great schools, great parks, free school lunches for all kids, and one of the higher ranking states in most categories. So in my direct personal life, aside from the higher income taxes, he's done a great job. In terms of things that don't really impact me but I disagree with... his support for trans and abortion support and other liberal policies is not preferred.
