I had the 17th, Jolly had the 25th… So that part’s a tie. Quick, Jolly, who will be the VP candidate?

If it's Kamala at the head of the ticket, Shapiro.

Dems completely abandon Michigan? Love it!

Don't think the country is at a two woman ticket. And I think they need Pennsylvania.

No, I meant that the Michigan Muslims do not vote for a ticket that has somebody named Shapiro on it.

They'll have Kamala put a scarf over her head, get on her knees and point her ass towards Mecca. It's a familiar position...

I guess my prediction of Biden winning in November is now in serious jeopardy.

I think the problem here is finding a VP candidate that makes Harris look strong. Maybe Tim Kaine again.

That costs them the Senate. They need him to win this November in VA…

                  Totally possible.

Another rumor is that Harris had a long meeting with Buttigieg today.

Of course not. They both have long histories of public service in government offices. Much longer than Trump’s. Much longer than Vance’s.

Well, Pete's been in public service 5 years (three of which were appointed, not elected), so there's that.

Pete did oversee a 150M sewage project when he was a mayor. He paved a few streets. He then decided to jump from mayor to POTUS, falling far short. I think he decided not to run for a third term and to run for the presidency, because he couldn't be reelected mayor.

He was appointed as Transportation Secretary, mostly because he was intelligent and gay. He then proceeded to have multiple fuck-ups, including the
nonresponse to the Ohio Derailment, the massive flight outage stranding hundreds of thousands and walking away from his job on paternity leave in the middle of COVID while there were major transportation issues, from lack of trucking to ships piled up in harbors, unable to unload cargo.

Her record of "Public service" is probably quite long.

(I won't go down the "service" Willie Brown road because I'm pretty classy, right?)

Well, she sent over 1000 young brown men that were first time offenders to prison for nonviolent marijuana possession charges, while advocating for the release of violent criminals that then committed more violent crimes when released. She also withheld exonerating evidence from two cases l, resulting in likely innocent men going to jail for very long periods of time.

You forgot to mention being MIA for 10% of term on paternity leave, to help his spouse after a particularly hard labor. That labor having been listening to the actual mother go through the process of actually giving birth. Wow, it must have been tough on them.

I mentioned before I like Pete... smart, fast thinker (like Trump), and his resume is bonkers. As I said before: "He can speak 7 languages, Harvard, Oxford, Rhodes scholar, military vet, classical pianist, mayor, cabinet secretary. Look how much you can do when you don’t have a wife!"

Maybe he'd be a good fit for VP, although I think Harris will pick Shapiro. Pete might not have the chops to be President, but let's also look at who's been elected recently... an old frail man, a TV host and businessman with a long list of bankruptcies, and a young senator who used to be a community organizer.
