So sad you have to endure this. I hope it passes quickly.

Today is the 3rd week anniversary of my coming down with Covid. I only had a sore throat the first day or so. After that, it morphed into heavy fatigue and malise. I took Palovid on day 2 - BUT a lot of folks have suggested that Paxlovid may be assocaited with a rebound. I don't know if I would take it again - BUT it did seem to knock down the symptoms quickly =- just took a long time to completely murder off the bug.

But everyone is different. I hope you murder it off quickly. From what I hear Covid is a bit more prevalent in the South - and again, some of the suspician is that a lot of folks are indoors - confined spaces with air conditioning.

Get well soon and remember to gargle several times a day with salt and warm water along with the usual rest and plenty of non dehydrating fluids. Lemon and honey will soothe the sore throat.

Seconded. And a great way to have that lemon and honey is a hot toddy…

I’m glad you’re finally feeling better. Hopefully I won’t be in for 3 weeks of this.

Thanks, I might be wildly optimistic thinking I’ll be over this in a couple days. We’ll see.

Has anyone mentioned plenty of fluids? It makes a difference.

Fluids, rest, acetaminophen and a cough suppresent. Keep a check on your O2Sat. If it hits 94 or below and you seem like you've got a little chest tightness, make sure you see a doc.

Down here, docs give steroids, even though it's not recommended. Paxolovid is a discussion to have with your doc.
