One of the instructors I worked with was a B2 pilot.
He flew 35+ hour missions - including the first that delivered bombs.
I flew with him quite a few times when we were flying just to fly. I never asked him much about B2 details, I figured just about everything was classified.
But he was able to confirm that the plane was originally designed for 3 airmen. They eliminated the middle seat, and left an open space there. For long duration flights the pilots went to Walmart and bought a chaise lounge to put in the open spot so they could take more comfortable naps.
