Do you think they’ll debate?

I honestly don’t remember her debates in 2020, but it would seem to me that if you spend years in a court room you get a lot of experience thinking on your feet and being thrown curve balls.

Tulsi Gabbard eviscerated her, leading to her campaign taking a nosedive...

But she didn’t. Her approach as a prosecutor was to only take cases that were slam dunks. She dropped everything that wasn’t to show a high successful prosecution rate.

Douglas Murray had a great take on her the other day.

Kamala had no accomplishments as a Senator, was the prosecutor in San Francisco for years as their crime got worse, and she had one responsibility as VP, the border.
This is going to be ugly.

Trump wants FOX.
No surprise. In the interest of "Fair and Balanced," the Democrats should allow it. After all, Trump "debated" Biden on CNN with Tapper and Bash.

He should agree so long as it’s pre-convention. To give them time to swap out again…

George, do you think that the first debate was bias one side or the other?
(I did not see or listen to it, only clips)

I was surprised at how fair it was. I think the pre-agreed rules had a lot to do with it - though I would have enjoyed a "shock collar" a lot more.

LOL. Good point. Either time one of them tells a false statement, a big "X" should appear in front of them. After three "X's".................

Someone suggested a trap door, but that might end the debate prematurely.

Trump, even if he wins the debate in terms of content, will come off looking like a bully, or misogynistic, of racist, but man it would be fun to watch. But very risky for Trump…in addition to the above, he will look older, more petty, and the talking heads afterwards will adore Kamala because well, anyone looks better compared to Biden.

I agree with President Trump on this.
https://www.axios.com/2024/08/26/harris-trump-debate-sept-10-abc-news
The campaigns sparred over whether the candidates' microphones should be muted during the Sept. 10 debate when they are not speaking, as was the case during the June debate between President Biden and Trump.
Harris, who ascended to the top of the Democratic ticket last month after Biden dropped out, believes "both candidates' mics should be live throughout the full broadcast," Brian Fallon, Harris campaign's senior advisor for communications, said in a statement on Monday.
"Our understanding is that Trump's handlers prefer the muted microphone because they don't think their candidate can act presidential for 90 minutes on his own," Fallon said.
The other side: Trump said during a campaign stop in Virginia on Monday that whether the microphones were muted did not matter to him, but that "we agreed to the same rules" as the last debate.
"Enough with the games. We accepted the ABC debate under the exact same terms as the CNN debate," Jason Miller, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, said in a statement.

They agreed on the rules, now Kamrade Kamala wants to change the rules.
The woman is nuts. She got the venue she wanted ...Trump is walking into a two or three on one. And she still ain't satisfied...

So, why did Harris want to bail?

If the allow unmuted microphones, I am feared that it will be like the 2020 debates.
(But, I do have to admit, I did not see them at all. Probably a good thing!!! LOL)
