Brooklyn Dad is a joke on X. He has been caught in so many contradictions, it’s beyond ludicrous. But let’s take a look at the claims…

I wasn't expecting him to help expand NATO.

That’s all on Putin, thank you very much. And likely would have been unnecessary under a Trump admin.

I wasn't expecting him to lower insulin & inhalers.

Yes you were. Everybody was expecting caps to be placed on Insulin. It was inevitable, no matter who was in office.

I wasn't expecting him to create & recover 15m jobs.

      Again with this shit?

I wasn't expecting him to bring manufacturing back.

      Good thing, since he didn’t.

I wasn't expecting him to forgive student debt.

Yes, you were. And guess what? It’s probably the biggest reason Trump was leading in the polls before the debate. The student loan position is extremely unpopular.

His Project 2025 will enable a national abortion ban to criminalize women seeking safe and legal abortions.
His Project 2025 will take away the rights of our LGBTQ family and friends.
His Project 2025 will transform the government into a loyalty pledge, not to America but to him ALONE.

        "His" Project 2025? Really?

I hope he finds the time to read Project 2025. There are several things in there I agree with. I think many people would, too.

Not to split hair, but the # of manufacturing jobs is higher now than at any point in President Trump presidency.

And if you compare to the end of President Trump presidency................

That hardly qualifies as being “back”. It won’t be “back” for another 20 years, if ever, and it won’t be through executive action.

I am just trying to point out, taking the emotion out of it, that President Trump was not the second coming of (insert whoever you believe in) during his first term and won't be in his second term if he is elected.

There is a tendency for those on the right side who have TDS to wear rose glasses when it comes to looking at his term in total. Maybe because President Biden is doing so poorly. LOL

President Trump is a very good cheerleader if he is saying the things that "align" with (generic) you thinking. He is able to make (generic) you feel better, even if the "quantitative" numbers say things are the same as the previous (or current) administration.

                  • Avg. Border crossing actually INCREASED from President Obama to President Trump
                  • Manufacturing jobs is HIGHER now than at any point in President Trumps term
                  • money supply was quadrupled during President Trump term. I think that any economist, no matter which side they follow, will tell you that 4x the money supply = eventually higher inflation
                  • average return of US stock market (SP500, Dow Jones, etc) was higher under President Obama vs President Trump after four years. On a % basis, President Biden = President Trump right now on the stock market
                  • this is more "qualitative" but I think that Republics have underperformed expectations since 2018, the first major election that President Trump had control of the party. Same in 2020 and 2022. Some of that has to fall to leadership.
                  • through the end of June 2024, President Biden has appointed 201 federal judges. President Trump appointed 200 at the same point of his presidents term.
                    etc.

I think you'll have your definitive answer come November.

Sometimes I parody a pro-Trump perspective here to comport with TG’s characterizations of Trump supporters. Other times I parody TDS perspectives, to comport with actual TDS patients who actually exist here and everywhere else.
